"I write from a very autobiographical view about everything that I'm feeling and experiencing at that moment." says Phil "It's about getting things out. I try and catch things quickly as the best things are here then gone. Sometimes I'm trying to getting across a message, other times it's just about a feeling and whatever needs to come out, like a therapy I guess. Ultimately it's the feeling that guides the whole process and making the decisions that gets put down on a recording... and yeah, I like the sound of pretty, melodic things".
The great 'The Sandy Sessions' album was released on Oh Mercy! Records on 17th February 2014.
